Collection

It is by being attuned to your surroundings that you are able to create craft worth sharing. With technique, function, and art at its core, this collection emulates grains of sand kissed by the ocean, ancient pillars of the temple, and memories of naani-badi.

To pull from lived experiences is Human Nature afterall.

Nani Badi

Firing No. 1

Nani Badi

Nani Badi draws from the kitchen gardens of Indian homes remembered through the eyes of a child for whom its banana leaves and pomegranate trees seemed almost monumental. The forms and markings hold onto that feeling of disappearing into a garden and finding an entire world within it.

Leher

Firing No. 4

Leher

Inspired by the movement of waves, receding tides and the layered textures of coastal rock, Leher takes the rhythm of the shore into ceramic form. Organic ridges and grooves run across its cylindrical body, while reactive glazes move between earthy greens and deep aquatic blues.

With the simple addition of a ceramic insert, Leher becomes a vase, bringing together its sculptural character and the everyday act of living in different spaces.

The First Form

The first successful ceramic furniture piece from the studio, this form grew through repeated trials with scale, clay and fire. What began as experimentation became an exercise in patience and endurance — allowing the final form to emerge through an ongoing dialogue with the material.
